Promises of God, are everlasting for eternity. They continue to live forever with those who hear God’s words, God makes everlasting covenants with His people to assure them, His presence when they obey and do His word/commandments.” But He said, instead, how blessed are those who hear God’s word and obey it,” (ref, Luke 11*28).
On other occasion He was making promises to Mary mother of Our Messiah Jesus Christ. The Angel, made her aware of this” Nothing is impossible with respect to any of God’s promises,”(ref, luke 1*37). At verse 38 same chapter we meet this obedient, obeying and believing God girl, believing God, saying ”truly I am the Lord’s servant. Let everything you have said happen to me”. For humans its impossible, but not for God. All things are possible for God.
On other occasion, God was with Abraham, ” But God replied, ”No, but you wife Sarah will give birth to your son, and you are to name him Isaac. I’ll confirm my covenant with him as an aternal covenant for his descendants.”(ref, Gen 17*19). And Sarah did have a son by name of Isaac, promise of God was fulfilled to Abraham and Sarah.
Furthermore, through your descendants all the nations of the earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed my command.” As the time approached for the fulfilment of the promise that God had made to Abraham, the people’s population increased a great deal in Egypt.”(ref, Act 7*17). For all promises of God are “yes” in Him. And so through him we can say” Amen,” to the glory of God. ”The Lord made an oath to David from which He will not retreat. One of your sons I will set in place on your throne.”(ref, Psa 132*11).
”For I tell you that the Messiah became a servant of the circumcised on behalf of God’s truth in order to confirm the promises given to our ancestors, so that the gentiles may glorify God for His mercy. As it is written, that is why I will praise you among the gentiles, I will praises to your name.”(ref, Rom 15*8-9).
(ref, 2Cor 7*1),”Since we have these promises, dear friends, let’s cleanses ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit by becoming mature in our Holy fear of God.
