The journey of any decision making may be a difficult and long one. By trusting in God’s plans for our lives, we experience peace in the storms of life. Any decision that draws us closer in our relationship with God assures us a success (ref,Jeremiah 29*11-13). When we surrender our will (pride and selfish motives) to God’s will, He gives us the desires of our heart (ref,Psalm 27*3-5).
When we exclude God from our decision making, we intentionally ignore God’s instructions. “I will bless those who have humble and contrite hearts, who tremble at my word. But those who choose their own ways, delighting in their sins, are cursed . . . I will send great troubles against them—all the things they feared . . . When I spoke, they did not listen. They deliberately sinned—before my very eyes—and chose to do what they know I despise”(ref,Isaiah 66*2-4). Our pride and selfishness suggests, “I’ll take this course of action. If God doesn’t stop me, it must be okay.” Instead, God’s direction and wisdom must be sought before we make any decision.
• Your Mind – Results in impetuous choices (ref,1 Corinthians 3*18-19).
• Peer Pressure – Produces confusion and failure (ref,Jeremiah 7*24).
• God’s Mind – Gives supernatural wisdom to you. (ref,Proverbs 2*3-8).
A Humbling Experience
One of the most difficult factors in decision making is humbling oneself, admitting that you don’t know it all or that you’ve failed.
We all make costly mistakes, decisions that we wish we never made. Moses ignored God’s instructions (ref,Numbers 20*8-12), Samson surrendered his strength (ref,Judges 16*17-21), and Peter repeatedly denied knowing Jesus Christ (ref,John 18*25-27). Each of these mighty men humbled themselves by asking for God’s forgiveness. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness” (ref1 John 1*9).
Here are just a few of the things God says about you in the Bible:
>I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me. (ref,Proverbs 8*17)
>Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this.(ref,Psalm 37*4-5)
>He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. (ref,Psalm 147*3)
>Cast all your anxiety on him because He cares for you.(ref,1 Peter 5:7)
>The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.(ref,Psalm 34*18)
It’s important to believe God because He has only one motive: love. His love is unconditional, honest, and everlasting. You will never be able to comprehend how much God loves you. and blessed you are with the riches of Heaven,
Maybe you feel insignificant because you don’t measure up to the world’s standards. But don’t believe the world. Believe God.
He made you the way you are for a reason. You’re unique. Not another of the 6 billion people on this planet has your fingerprints or DNA. There’s only one you because God wanted it that way.
So often we’re influenced by people who want to sell us things. They flatter us or make us feel inadequate so we’ll buy their product or service. But God’s not selling a thing. Scripture says He knew you before you were formed in your mother’s womb. God cares about you so much that He even knows how many hairs you have on your head. Nothing in your life escapes His notice, no matter how trivial it may seem. By the way He is your Father, He loves you more than limited thoughts of others. He made you to be success.
BELIEVE HIM ONLY, NOT WHAT OTHERS THINK…..
Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of GOD in Christ Jesus for you..for every battle has been won by the blood of Jesus on the cross. He died for you. Now what is left of you is to give thanks to the Lord. In all circumstances..
So do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and supplications with thanksgiving let your request be known to your God. For every good gift and every perfect gift is from above coming down from the Father of light.
John 3*16″God loved the world, and He gave the world His beloved Son as salvation to the world to be saved through His Son Christ Jesus.
The love that God has for people who are made out of His image. And set them aside for His praise and glory, not by their works. But mercy of God, because God made it clear in the beginning that we are in Hid image and likeness.all the promises He made to Abraham and the descendent of Abraham and Sarah. Shall come to us in Jesus Christ name and faith.
If we can remember the love that God has for us, we will never fail to love our brothers and sisters. Born with or not.
As we judge we will be judged.
In Israel’s promises to obey God and His laws, they were depending upon themselves, in David’s promises to love God and to call upon Him in time of trouble, he was depending upon the character and capacities of God. (ref, Psa 18*1-3),”I will love you, O LORD, my strength, The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my strength, in Whom i will trust, My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised, so shall i be saved from my enemies.”
Its clear that the works of God in our lives depend on God’s promises to us, no not us to make promises to Him. Though, this doesn’t mean that we are forbiden to express the love we have for God, through promises to Him. As in the testimony of David from his heart to God he makes two significant promises, “ i will love you, O Lord. I will call upon the Lord.”
Loving God is the essence of our relationship with the Lord.(ref, Matt 22*37) “ You shall love the Lord your God wtih your heart, with all your soul. And with your mind.” Our love for the Lord is in response to His great love for us, ” we love Him because He loved us first,(ref, 1John 4*19). meaning He caused His love in us to remember to love back. By ourselves we can not love, because He is only love that can change a heart of man. He rescue us from eternal death to eternal life, which is a life He lives and give to obedient hearts to His laws and commandment.
Long ago, the Lord had made promise that He would be available to work in the heart of His people, if they were to love Him properly.” And the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of descendants, to love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul”(ref, Deu 30*6).
