Blessed is he Whose Transgressions are Forgiven

God hates sin, but He loves the sinner. The price for God’s forgiveness is high, but He paid the price Himself. By Christ’s loving act of grace, believers are eternally freed from the penalty and guilt of sin. Once we’re covered by the Blood of Christ, God doesn’t keep a record of our sins. Our forgiveness is total and complete.

“Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, who sins are covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord doesn’t count against him and in whose spirit is no deceit” (ref,Psalm 32*1-2).”I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more” (ref,Isaiah 43*25).

“It is possible for the Lord to look at us without seeing our sins because when He forgave us, He removed our sins as far as the east is from the west” (ref,Psalm 103*12).

A believer receives God’s forgiveness when he repents of sin and places his faith in Jesus Christ for salvation, all of his sins are forgiven forever. That includes past, present and future, big or small. Jesus Christ died to pay the penalty for all of our sins, and once they are forgiven, they are all forgiven (ref,Colossians 1*14).However, when we stumble, we are called to confess our sins – “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness” (ref,1 John 1*9). Yes, Christians do sin but the Christian life is not to be identified by a life of sin. Believers are a new creation (ref,2 Corinthians 5*17). We have the Holy Spirit in us producing good fruit (ref,Galatians 5*22-23). A Christian life should be a changed life.

A person who claims to be a believer yet continually lives a life that says otherwise should question the genuineness of his faith. Christians are forgiven no matter how many times they sin, but at the same time, Christians should live a progressively more holy life as they grow closer to Christ.

Christians continue to sin after they are saved we will not be free from sin until we die or Jesus comes back. However, becoming a Christian results in a changed life (ref,2 Corinthians 5*17). A person will go from producing the acts of the flesh to producing the fruit of the Spirit . This change does not happen instantly, but it does happen over time. Paul tells us, “And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God”

God pronounce us not guilty, When we Repent………

Can a person be saved without holding to the core beliefs of Christianity? No. But along with accepting as true those core beliefs must be a spiritual transformation. Jesus said that in order to inherit eternal life one must be “born again” (John 3*3).” Jesus answered them and said, surely, surely, I say to you, except a man be born again, he can’t see the kingdom of God”.

To be born again is a work of the Holy Spirit in the heart of a repentant sinner. Just as a mother in labor does all the work in bringing forth a new life, so the Holy Spirit does the work in transforming a sinner into a new creature (2 Corinthians 5*17).”Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new”.

This process begins when God draws a heart through conviction of sin and hope of forgiveness (John 6*44).”No man can come to me, except the Father which have sent me draw him to me, and I will raise him up at the last day”.When we surrender to God and repent of our sin (Acts 2*38),”Then Peter said to them, repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit”.

God applies the blood of His own Son to our account and cancels the debt we owe Him (Colossians 2*14). “By this act of transference, God pronounces us “not guilty”; that is, He justifies us (Romans 4*5). Salvation is a divine exchange: Jesus becomes our sin so that we can become His perfection (2 Corinthians 5*21). This is the gospel at the very core of Christianity

Being in Christ..

Abide in Christ – Being in Christ
“Abide in Me [Christ], and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me” (ref,John 15*4).

Consider abiding in Christ or being in Christ as a journey you have to take. This spiritual adventure begins with a personal experience with Jesus Christ and continues for the rest of your life. The steps on this glorious path are ones of both pain and great gain since you must leave your former, natural pathways to follow a new way of living (ref, 2 Corinthians 5*17).

This new path involves denial of your former behaviours and paths and its accompanying selfish desires. (ref,Romans 6*3-5), but is also filled with great blessings, including the very presence of Jesus Christ and a joy that is beyond description in human terms alone (ref, 1 Peter 1*8). This new life is one lighted only in small steps, which require faith in following along with, but not ahead of, Jesus Christ. Yet those who choose to discipline themselves do so with the assurance of fellowship that continues forever with Jesus Christ in His Home called Heaven ( John 14*1-3).

WHO SAY FINAL WORDS IN YOUR LIFE….

If you don’t read your Bible regularly, you might not be familiar with what God has said about you.” What’s even more important is that bible is a personal love letter to you.

Here are just a few of the things God says about you in the Bible:

>I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me. (Proverbs 8*17)

>Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this.(Psalm 37*4-5)

>He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. (Psalm 147*3)

>Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.(1 Peter 5*7)

>The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.(Psalm 34*18)

Change means Being Different From the Past.

love God commandment

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles, in the vanity of their mind, having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart.”(ref, Eph 4*17-18).

For many spent enough time in the past doing what the gentiles like to do, living in sensuality, sinful desires, drunkenness, wild celebrations , detestable idolatry, they insult you now because they  are surprised that you are no longer joining them in the same excesses of wild living. They will give and account to the one who is ready to judge the living and the dead.

For God’s wrath is being revealed from heaven against all the ungodliness and wickedness of those who in their wickedness supress the truth. Regarding your former ways of life, you were taught to strip off your old nature which is being ruined by its deceptive desire.

New Life From God to Us Individualy.

God mercy

Among whom all of us also formerly lived out our lives in the cravings of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath even as the rest…..But God, being rich in mercy, because of this great love with which He loved us, even though we were dead  in transgressions, made us alive together with Christ Jesus – by grace your saved.”(ref, Eph 2*3-5).

He delivered us from the power of darkness and transferred us to the Kingdom of the Son He loves, He saved us not by works of righteousness that we have done but on the basis of His mercy, through the washing of the new birth and the renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us in full measure through Jesus Christ our Savoir. ” I will sprinkle you with pure water and you will be clean from all your impurities. I will purify you from all your idols.(ref, Eze 36*26).

And so, since we have been justified by His grace, we become heirs with the confident expectation of eternal life. and he raised us up with Him and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus. For by grace your saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. it is not from our works, surely no one should boast. and what is the incomparable greatness of His power toward us who believe in Christ Jesus, as displayed in the exercise of His immense strength.

For we are His workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works that God prepared beforehand so we may do them.(ref, Eph 2*10)
